Cancellation, Refund & Privacy Policies

Achilles Media Ltd* will only accept cancellation & refund requests made in writing by May 20, 2008 and emailed to registration@achillesmedia.com or faxed to 403-678-3357.

A cancellation fee of $200 + 5% GST ($210) will be deducted from your refund.

Refundable Registrations:
Festival Rate – until May 20, 2008
Daily Rate – until May 20, 2008

Non-Refundable Registrations:
Kick-Off Rate
Early Bird Rate
Spring Rate
Rookie Rate
Corporate Rate (first three registrations)
Kick-Off Combo Rate

In the event of a duplicate registration or similar instance that warrants a refund, a handling fee of $200 + 5% GST ($210.00) will be charged

Transfer Policies

Achilles Media Ltd* will only accept transfer requests made in writing by June 2, 2008 and emailed to registration@achillesmedia.com or faxed to 403-678-3357.

A transfer fee of $100 + 5% GST ($105) will be charged and is due upon registration transfer. Please complete the following transfer form including payment details for the new delegate and email to registration@achillesmedia.com or fax to 403-678-3357.

Registrations are not transferable to future events.

Transferable Registrations:
Kick-Off Rate – until June 2, 2008
Early Bird Rate – until June 2, 2008
Spring Rate – until June 2, 2008
Festival Rate – until June 2, 2008
Corporate Rate – until June 2, 2008, must be transferred within the same organization.
Daily Rate – until June 2, 2008
Kick-Off Combo Rate – until June 2, 2008

The Banff World Television Festival respects and values its relationship with all our delegates, speakers, employees, customers, sponsors and other stakeholders. The Festival is committed to protecting and keeping secure the personal information you provide into our custody and control.

The personal information you choose to provide will be protected and used only for the purpose identified at the time of collection.

Personal Information Defined

Personal information is information that can be used to identify or contact a specific individual (i.e. name, home address and telephone number) and may also include survey responses expressing an individual's opinion. Publicly available information (example: information in telephone directory) or business contact information is not considered personal information. The provision by an individual of home information as business contact information will be considered business contact information and hence will not be subject to policies put in place to protect personal information.

Privacy Protection Practices

All personal information gathered by The Banff World Television Festival is kept in confidence with Achilles Media Ltd. and will only be used for further notification of events associated with Achilles Media Ltd. Festival employees or subcontractors only have authorized access to personal information based on the business needs for which it was collected. Physical, administrative and technical measures are in place to ensure that the information is not disclosed or shared for reasons other than achieving the purpose for which it was collected.

All Festival employees use password protocols and firewalls are in place to protect personal information received or stored electronically. Protocols and software are maintained to maximize protection of personal information.

Payment will be made to Achilles Media Ltd. Credit card statements will show that payment has been made to Achilles Media
